Joe Louis Arena, Detroit

    Joe louis Arena, home of the Detroit Red Wings is located in downlown detroit is  on the Detroit river overlooking Windsor, Otario. The contruction was completed on December 12th 1979.  The Arena has a seating capacity of 20,066. The first competitive league game was on December 27, 1979, Detroit Red Wings vs. St. Louis Blues (St. Louis 3, Detroit 2); the attendance was 19,742

      The National ice centre in Nottingham is home to the Nottingham Panthers ice hockey team.  The arena was completed br march 2000. It has a seating capacity of 7,500 for hockey matches and 10,000 for concerts. The first competetive game in the new facility was a B&H cup game in front of 4,604 fans on september 2nd 2000 v London Knights. (panthers 2 Knights 1)
